Hakuba

Hakuba is roughly an hour away from the lively city of Nagano.


It’s situated in the middle of the Northen Alps. The valley consists of 7 main ski areas:
Happo-One, Hakuba 47, Hakuba Goryu, Sanosaka, Iwatake, Minetake, and Goryu. 

Hakuba is an internationally recognised ski resort with over 10 meters of snowfall per season. It is the central hub for 10 ski resorts that includes over 200 runs!
 
Any level of a rider can are guaranteed to have a great time in Hakuba. For the inexperienced beginners and intermediates, there are many groomed runs with fantastic views to enjoy. For the more experienced skier/snowboarder there is also some world class back-country skiing on offer. 

Hakuba is a great alternative for people wanting to experience great terrain, amazing snow, delicious luxury accommodation, food, and onsens whilst being on the main island and only a Shinkansen ride away from the metropolis known as Tokyo. Oh, and last but not least, Hakuba has snow monkeys that bathe themselves in hot springs!
