NISEKO

The name Niseko derives from the Ainu language, and it means "a cliff jutting over a riverbank deep in the mountains". The Niseko town's main industries are agriculture and tourism.

Nowhere in Asia comes close to Niseko for the ultimate international ski and snowboard experience.
This is the place that has it all! From trendy winter retail stores to authentic onsens to Michelin starred restaurants.

Niseko is perfect for the beginner that wants to mix it up with a taste of everything but also perfect for the intermediate-advanced skier/snowboarder that wants to experience the vast side-country/back-country it has to offer!

The Niseko area consists of four different ski resorts – Annupuri, Higashiyama, Hirafu, Hanazono. This area has some of the highest snowfalls in the world thanks to the Siberian winds and the Sea of Japan together creating the ultimate weather pattern to make a perfect winter wonderland.

A Grand Hirafu ski pass includes both Hirafu and Hanazono resorts, while the Niseko United ski pass includes all four resorts and you get accesses to 38 lifts that you can use to move around freely!
